With extensive experience in camera and steadicam operation, Tamia excels in capturing dynamic shots that enhance storytelling. Their expertise spans technical precision and creative vision, contributing significantly to high-quality film productions. Tamia has worked on many international productions and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Tamia is currently a volunteer for the ACO, working with the events committee and has undertaken courses thought the organisation, completing the ‘Handheld and Body mechanics’ workshop in 2024 lead by Marc Hill, ACO and Ed Clark, ACO, as well as the ‘Geared Head and telescopic Crane’ workshop bot in 2024 and 2026 lead by Pete Robertson, ACO.
Tamia also helps run WBTC, a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting and neutering women working in the film industry. She a recent graduate from the WFTV mentorship program, alongside some of the industry’s leading women.
